ingredients | Makes 6 toasts
¾ lb cooked baby shrimp
Humble & Frank MISO SESAME SAUCE AND MARINADE
2 tsp mayonnaise
3 scallions, minced, divided
½ cup grated gruyere or white cheddar
1 long baguette
2 Tbsp softened butter
1 garlic clove, peeled
Heat oven to broil. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine shrimp, about ¼ cup MISO SESAME SAUCE, mayonnaise, about ¾ of the scallions, and gruyere. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
Slice the baguette on the sharp diagonal about 1-inch thick, to make 6 long slices. (You may have extra baguette). Place the baguettes on the prepared sheet pan and butter each piece. Set under the broiler until butter is melted and bread is lightly browned, 2-3 minutes. Cut the garlic clove in half and immediately rub each piece of baguette with the cut side.
Set the oven to 425°F.
Divide the shrimp mixture evenly on top of each baguette slice. Return sheet pan to the oven and bake until shrimp is heated through and cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with the remaining scallions and serve.
