HIGH TIDE MAUI BEEF

AND MUSHROOM CHOW MEIN

1 1/2 lbs sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
2 bottles Humble and Frank HIGH TIDE MAUI SAUCE AND MARINADE
1 cup chicken or beef broth
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 c soy sauce or tamari
1 1/2 tsp corn starch
16 oz chow mein egg noodles
6 Tbsp vegetable oil, divided
1 small onion, thinly sliced
8 oz shiitake mushrooms, thinly sliced
1 large red pepper, thinly sliced
8 green onions, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
16 oz fresh bean sprouts
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
Sesame seeds for serving

Directions

Place the steak in a medium-sized bowl and season with pepper. Stir in 1/2 bottle of HIGH TIDE MAUI SAUCE and toss to coat well. Cover and let marinate for 3 hours or up to overnight in the fridge. Remove from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking.

In a large measuring cup, whisk together the broth, vinegar, soy sauce and the corn starch. Whisk in the remaining 1/2 bottle of HIGH TIDE MAUI SAUCE and set aside.

Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
