ingredients      |  Serves 6 as an appetizer

3-4 lbs fresh chicken wing drumettes
Olive oil
2 bottles Humble and Frank HIGH TIDE MAUI SAUCE AND MARINADE
5 large scallions, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp toasted black and / or white sesame seeds

Heat oven to 400°F. Line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper and set a wire rack on top.

In a large bowl toss wings with enough olive oil to lightly coat. Season with salt and pepper and place on the rack. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for about 35 minutes until wings are cooked through.

Increase oven to 450°F.

Remove the aluminum foil and brush wings generously with HIGH TIDE MAUI SAUCE. Alternatively, you can toss the wings with the sauce in a large bowl, then return to the rack.

Bake, uncovered, for another 10-15 minutes, rotating occasionally, until sauce is sticky and hot.

Set the oven to broil.

Broil the wings for another 5 minutes, rotating until they are slightly browned on all sides.

Transfer wings to a platter and sprinkle with scallions and sesame seeds.

Serve with fresh crudités and dip.
